The term elderly is used to refer to persons who are in the later stages of their life, have reached an advanced age, and hence, individuals who are more than 65 years of age are generally termed aged. Aging is a natural process and a continuous nature, and people may have different health conditions, abilities, and life circumstances as they age. Support provided through companionship, access to health facilities, social security, and socialization can make the life of the aged to improve. Most of the aged adults are still active and productive as they continue contributing to the communities and enjoying their hobbies and interests.
