Welcome to Athma-My Mind My Care counselling centre. The following terms and conditions narrate the rules and regulations for accessing our services. By agreeing the terms and conditions you agree to comply with these terms and we use it for ensuring viability and transparency of operations. If you disagree with any portion of these terms, please do not use our services.
- Intake of Clients- Intake client is possible only with the signing of a consent form (in case the client is below 18years, parent/guardian needs to sign the consent)
- Services-Our counselling and therapeutic services are rendered by qualified and licenced professionals. The detailing of the services is outlined in our website and the clients are requested to visit the same for further information.
i) Confidentiality- We believe in confidentiality which is one of the fundamental parts of mental health service. There is a strong conviction by the staff about maintaining confidentiality of clients, shared information and intervention strategies unless and until the client permits to reveal it. However, if there is an indication of self-harm or harm to others and suspect of child abuse, the confidentiality might not be followed. Actions will be taken to inform the doctor/police/emergency service or any other third party as a safety net for the organization and the client.
All the datas and documents shared by the client/informant such as previous medical records/academic reports/psychiatric assessment inferences are kept confidential and removed after meeting the purpose.

- Responsibilities of the client- The clients are suggested to provide accurate and honest details of the issue during the intake, so that appropriate intervention can be designed which makes the recovery faster. Clients should be regular in attending sessions based on the scheduled plan. If a scheduled needs to be rescheduled or cancelled, prior intimation should be given at least before 24 hours.
- Delegation of Psychologist/ Therapist/ Counsellor– The psychologist/therapist/counsellor is assigned based on the nature and severity of the issue and the clients are requested to adhere to that. In case, if the client is not satisfied with the assigned person, the same can be informed to the client coordinator and avail possible solutions.
- Payment- Fess and other service charges will be shared in advance, so as the payment to be completed two days after the intake session. We accept direct payment/bank transfer and any additional charges with regard to payment processing will be the client’s responsibility.
ii) Cancellation/Refund- Cancellation of sessions will not be a reason to refund the payment as it is being a package based services. Instead of that the sessions can be scheduled for another day. Refunds are approved on genuine grounds and no refunds are provided for completed sessions.
iii) Intellectual Property- Any materials or resources distributed during sessions are only for personal use. They should not be replicated/circulated/shared without prior consent.

- Limitation of Liability- Athma-My Mind My Care and its staff is not responsible for any direct/indirect damages or consequences emerging from the use of our services.
- Changes in Terms and Conditions- Athma- My Mind My Care hold the right to redefine or replace these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be applicable upon posting on our website. Using our services after the changes indicated the acceptance of the modified terms and conditions.
